A saying in business is that you cannot afford to stand still. Every business has to be forward thinking and willing to embrace new technology and new products.
We are, therefore, pleased to announce that we have joined up with an established German based water treatment manufacturer, Watch Water, to bring a number of their products to Ireland.
The initial products now available fit in with our own experience with iron and manganese contaminated well water and natural organic matter from surface sources as well as the processing of wastewater.
The most newsworthy benefit to our existing customers and hopefully our potential customers, waiting out there, is that in addition to the very high performance achieved by these products is the price of each is exceptionally competitive and will allow us to pass this on making improving your water quality less expensive and more desirable.
The products in question are Katalox Light and Zeosorb, both certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 61.
Firstly, the advantages with Katalox Light, which is granular catalytic filter material is it's light weight, which reduces the pressure required for backwashing and extends the backwash intervals to reduce operating costs.
Katalox Light has a coating of manganese dioxide, an active ingredient, and uses just contact with available oxygen to enable it to remove iron, manganese and hydrogen sulphide (the egg smell) from the water supply.
Zeosorb is a high purity natural aluminosilicate mineral. Lab and field tests have shown that Zeosorb filtration media consistently outperformed sand, sand/anthracite and other multimedia products in both pressure vessels and gravity filtration tests. Zeosorb has great potential as an effective adsorbant in numerous processes of purification of drinking water and wastewater management, such as the removal of ammonia, the removal of nitrogen, the removal of dissolved organic matter and colour and the treatment of industrial wastewater.
We are pleased to announce the availability of these products and we look forward to discussing any water issues you may have and the successful installation of a treatment process that will resolve the problems at a cost that enhances your business model.
